* PLEASE NOTE:  There will be no hauling in or out of horses during the Marathon phase of the competition on Saturday, August 27.  The gates will be closed to trucks and trailers except in the case of an emergency, and will be assisted by the Barn Manager. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

MOTORIZED VEHICLES POLICY 
There are good roads and access except that there is a water crossing to get to the marathon sections A & D. No motorized vehicles will be allowed to cross the water. Section A and the Walk Section are visually open and well-marked.

Speed Limit: 
5 MPH in the barn area
10 MPH on the roads & tracks

Golf Carts, Scooters, Bicycles, ATV's, Autos, Trucks (no motorcycles!) will be allowed on designated tracks to access the course.
  • The speed limits of 5 MPH in the stabling and arena areas, and 10 MPH on the tracks will be strictly enforced.
  • Vehicles must stay on the posted tracks and trails and park outside the obstacles.
  • Be courteous.
  • Plan to carpool to help reduce traffic. A map will be provided.
  • Please park only in the designated areas.
Any vehicles off the tracks, speeding, or reckless driving will result in elimination.

Only licensed drivers may operate a motorized vehicle on the property. Unlicensed operators will result in competitor elimination.

CAMPING 
Camping is available on the grounds. No hookups.

Camping spots will be ASSIGNED, and need to be reserved in advance.

Competitors - Your camping & meals information and reservations are included in your entry packet.

Volunteers - use the Camping & Meals Form for reservations please make a note on the form the day(s) you will be volunteering.

Others - please download the Camping & Meals Form for reservations.

Camping Fees:  
  • 5 nights, (Wed.-Sun.), no hookups: $100
  • Nightly rate: $25
  • Coming from out of town? See "Stay & Play" information for longer stay details.

DOG POLICY (Important - please read!)   DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES.

Dog Policy:  It is best to leave your dogs at home. SEC is a working ranch with LGD’s (Livestock Guardian Dogs) working at night. Any dogs must be on a leash at all times and kept at or near your campsite. No dogs near arenas or barns. First offense $50.00 fine, 2nd offense you will be asked to leave the grounds.

EVERYONE - please leave barking dogs at home! 
NO DOGS ALLOWED IN OR NEAR THE MEAL AREAS, DRESSAGE/CONES AREA, OR SHOW BARN.

FOOD and MEALS 
Food concessions, Miriam's Cocina, will be on grounds Friday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch.

Volunteers - Coffee, donuts & lunch will be provided on days worked.

Dinners - need to be purchased in advance.
