Spectating during a combined driving event makes for a fun day outside!
Thursday and Friday you can watch dressage from our stands by the sideline of the dressage court. This event is not as excitable as the marathon but is certainly appreciated by experienced horse people. In Dressage, the driver will drive a predetermined pattern consisting of different gaits and figures in an arena. They are judged on their accuracy and the correctness of their equine(s). The higher the level the higher the difficulty.
Saturday is the most action-packed day! It's marathon day, filled with speed and tight turns! The drivers go out on a course with between 5-7 obstacles depending on their level. In the obstacle the goal is to go as quick through possible without driving the wrong course and they love being cheered on while navigating through the obstacles! Sargent Equestrian will offer tailgating packages for this day! Click here for more details. Intercoastal Winery will be pouring wine between 11am-1pm. Our higher-level sponsors will have a VIP viewing area under our new gazebo.
Sunday cones is the final day and the competitor's final chance to get a better placing. The drivers go through a course with 20 numbered cones with balls on, their task is to not knock the balls of the cones and still be fast enough to make time. At the conclusion of the day there will be a blue grass band playing while awards are being calculated. Stay and applaud our winners!
